EMDR

INTENSIVES

I'm excited to offer EMDR trauma treatment intensives at my practice in San Antonio, Texas. These intensives are designed to help you heal from trauma and move on with your life in a shorter period of time than traditional weekly therapy.

During an EMDR intensive, you'll work with me for 1-5 days to focus on processing your trauma. We'll use EMDR, a highly effective and research-supported therapy, to help you resolve your symptoms and improve your quality of life.

EMDR intensives may be a good option for you if:

  • You want to achieve faster results in therapy.

  • You're busy and don't have the time to commit to weekly therapy sessions.

  • You've already spent a good amount of time in therapy and it doesn't seem to be helping.

  • You don't have access to a trauma therapist in your area but are able to spend some dedicated time to travel to see me to work in a more focused and concentrated way.

Here are some of the benefits of EMDR trauma treatment intensives:

  • You don't have to talk about the disturbing experience: EMDR doesn't require you to talk extensively about your trauma in order to heal.

  • Days not months: You can find life-changing healing in a matter of days, not months or years.

  • Cost-effective: Intensives are more cost-effective in the long run because the sessions are concentrated and highly focused.

  • No more weekly appointments: You can start living the healthy life you desire without having to schedule your life around a weekly therapy appointment.

  • More free time: Replace the time you would have otherwise spent seeing a therapist each week with quality time with your family, loved ones, or personal interests.

  • You don't have to live in San Antonio; I have clients travel to work with me. And I am happy to help you find a place to stay if you’d like to work together for a weekend intensive and need recommendations for a cozy place to stay.

If you're considering an EMDR trauma treatment intensive, please reach out to schedule a call. We'll briefly discuss your situation to determine if you would be a good candidate for an intensive, assess for the number of treatment days needed, answer any questions you may have, and review and prepare you for participating in an intensive.

I look forward to hearing from you!
